SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM


Gary and Nikki have always credited their success to "teamwork" and acknowledge that their success depends greatly on the support and commitment of their "team," a staff of 16 specialists, experts at their particular phase of the real estate transaction.

In an effort to promote education and stress a team approach in celebration of their team's success, Gary and Nikki have offered a $500 "Teamwork" scholarship for 10 consecutive years to one student from each of the five local high schools:

  • Countryside;
  • Dunedin;
  • East Lake;
  • Tarpon Springs, and;
  • Palm Harbor University High Schools.

The 2007 Winners are:

Sarah Pavlik - East Lake High School
Cody Carson - Tarpon Springs High School
Raphael Ortiz- Palm Harbor University High School

The requirements for the scholarship are to submit a 500 word essay on "What Teamwork Means to Me." The essays are judged solely on content and clarity. The deadline for entries is April 30, 2008. Check with the high school's counseling office for more information and an application or call us directly at 727-787-6995 x235. Here's a quick list of the requirements:

  • $500 Scholarship to one graduating senior of each school.
  • Must be planning on attending a college or university beginning summer or fall after graduation.
  • Equal opportunity scholarship - Grade Point Average is not a prerequisite.
  • Applicant must write an essay on "What Teamwork Means to Me" in 500 words or less.
  • Essay will be judged on content and must be legible.
  • Application and essay must be received by the deadline date that will be published in January of each year.
  • Essays will be judged by "The Gary & Nikki Team."
  • Student with the winning essay will receive an award certificate at the school's awards ceremony.
  • Scholarship will be paid in the student's name to the college or university of their choice.

Application

The Gary & Nikki Teamwork Scholarship Application Gary and Nikki would like to assist today's students in achieving their goals by offering a $500.00 "Gary & Nikki Teamwork Scholarship" to each of the five local high school seniors. One student will be chosen from each of the following five local high schools: Countryside High School, Dunedin High School, East Lake High School, Palm Harbor University and Tarpon Springs High School.

This is an equal opportunity scholarship for which Grade Point Average will not be a factor in the judging process. The requirements for application are as follows:

  1. Applicant must be a senior at one of the aforementioned high schools, graduating in 2006
  2. Applicant must submit a completed and signed application form along with a 500 word minimum essay (no more than 550 words) on the subject of "What Teamwork Means to Me".

Essays must be legible, but will be judged solely on content and clarity. Content must show understanding of the subject of teamwork.
